Wild Guppy are also known as "longkang fish" (drains fish) locally here in Malaysia. This is because they can be found living in the drains in some place. They are not native species in this region but was introduce by the British as a form of mosquito control.
Below are some photos I took in Muar, Johor Malaysia. It is a bit harder to find them in KL / PJ area now, but wild guppy still can be found in the industrial / factory area in PJ.
